One Plus devices are amazing, but I made a mistake buying a One Plus 7T, when just a few weeks later, the One Plus 8 launched and soon after that the One Plus Nord was released.

One Plus Nord
The One Plus Nord is a unique device because after many years, One Plus has released a budget device which they hadn’t since the One Plus X in 2015. The Nord has broken the barriers and has ripped open the budget segment.
At $100+ cheaper than that of the One Plus 7T, it still has the same specifications, if not more.
The One Plus Nord released in August 2020 has a Gorilla Glass 5 in the front and back. It’s the only One Plus in the past two years to have a plastic body and not an aluminum body.
The AMOLED screen is 6.44-inches big with HDR10+ and a 90Hz refresh rate. Runs on Android 10 and the latest Oxygen OS 10.5.4.

The camera on the Nord is pretty epic with a quad camera setup. 48-megapixel wide camera, 8-megapixel ultrawide, 5-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The dual selfie cameras are a nice touch as well. It has a 32-megapixel wide angle camera and a 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The Nord is the best Oneplus phone in the market for the price now. Oneplus has not cut corners in pursuit of a cheaper phone. In fact, apart from the plastic frame of the device, there is nothing cheap about the Nord, the features have only become better.
One Plus 8 Pro
The One Plus 8 Pro was released along with the One Plus 8 in April 2020. Although the One Plus 8 is eerily similar to the One Plus 7T, but only at a higher price point, the One Plus 8 Pro stands apart in terms of specs and features.
The One Plus 8 Pro has the standard Gorilla Glass 5 in the front and back. The first differentiating feature is the IP68 dust and water resistance.
The Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is a massive 6.78-incher, which is one of the largest OnePlus phones ever produced in terms of a display size.
It has HDR10+ and a 120Hz refresh rate, which you don’t find in other Oneplus models. Runs on the latest Android 10.0 and Oxygen 10.0.
Powered by the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865, it packs a punch in terms of use. Has two RAM options, 8GB and 12GB. Also has two storage options, 128GB and 256GB.
The One Plus 8 Pro also has superior cameras compared to the 8 with a quad camera setup. It has a 48-megapixel wide lens, 8-megapixel telephoto lens, 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel color filter lens.

One Plus 8 was the first One Plus phone released in 2020 in the month of April.
It has a Gorilla Glass 5 in the front and the back with an aluminum frame, that’s similar to all the One Plus 7 models.
The fluid AMOLED screen is 6.55-inches in size. It has HDR10+ and a 90Hz refresh rate. Running on Android 10 and the Oxygen OS 10.0
The chipset is the Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865. It has two RAM options that are 8GB and 12GB and storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
The camera is a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel wide lens, 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, 2-megapixel macro lens.

One Plus 7T Pro
The last of the Oneplus 7 series was the Oneplus 7T Pro that was released in October 2019. The most premium among the Oneplus 7 series phones, it packs quite a punch.
It has a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back. The Fluid AMOLED display is 6.67-inches big. It also has HDR10+ and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Runs on Android 10 with the Oxygen OS 10.0.4. The chipset powering the 7T powers the 7T Pro as well which is the Snapdragon SM8150, 855+. It has two RAM options 8GB and 12GB with 256GB being the standard storage option.
It has a triple camera on the back with a 48-megapixel wide lens, 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens. The telephoto on the 7T Pro is lesser than the 7T.
The front selfie camera is a motorized 16-megapixel shooter. It has an under the display fingerprint sensor and a 4085 Mah battery with 30W fast charging and warp charging.
The 7T Pro is only expensive because of the slightly larger display and the pop-up camera.
One Plus 7T
The One Plus 7T also was released in 2019, but in the month of September. It’s a slight variation on the One Plus 7 and is one of the currently best selling One Plus phones in the market apart from Nord.
The T in Oneplus 7T does not stand for anything in particular. It’s just a name for the variation. The 7T has a Gorilla Glass 5 in the front and back. It has a Fluid AMOLED display with HDR10+ and a 90Hz refresh rate.
It has a 6.55-inch display.
Running on Android 10, and OnePlus’ Oxygen OS 10.0.7. The Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855+ seems like the standard chipset across the OnePlus 7 phones.
Built in 8GB RAM is the only option and 256GB of storage. It has a triple camera setup with a 48-megapixel wide lens, 12-megapixel telephoto lens, 16-megapixel ultrawide lens.

The One Plus 7 Pro was an upgrade on the One Plus 7 and was released in May 2019. The prices have been slashed, making it one of the best priced One Plus phones in the market. So what improvements does it have over the One Plus 7?
The One Plus 7 Pro’s display only has the Gorilla Glass 5 compared to the One Plus 7’s Gorilla Glass 6. The back of the 7 Pro has a Gorilla Glass 5.
Has a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which is a tad bigger than the One Plus 7.
Has a HDR10+ and an impressive 90Hz refresh rate. Runs on Android 9.0(Pie) with the Oxygen OS 10.0.5.
